Minimum Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or GED and one year of work experience working directly with special populations including children, adolescents, adults, or the disabled.
This position requires a valid driver's license. May need use of own vehicle. The successful applicant must pass all applicable reference and background checks.
_Preference_ will be given to applicants with C.N.A, QSP, or Parent Aide certification. Please submit proof of certification with the application form.
Will be required to attend Parent Aide and QSP training if not already certified. If not currently certified, successful applicant will have demonstrated knowledge and experience with parenting skills, child welfare programs, or adult support service programs.

Summary of Work
75% of time this position will be providing direct in-home support services to families where risk factors of child maltreatment are present. Individual will be responsible to assist parents by providing instruction and guidance in parenting skills, working the case plan, monitoring safety measures, maintaining necessary documentation and reporting back to the case manager.
25% of time this position will assist disabled or elderly clients in their home. Duties may include light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and personal care for clients in their own homes. Individual will need to maintain documentation as required by the specific program/service a client receives.
Individual may provide transportation with personal or county vehicle and will need to complete the required documentation and paperwork. This individual will be a team member with the case manager and others professionals and may be required to work non-traditional hours.
